Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Hanks is the founder and CEO of Madison Capital, with projects throughout the United States with a concentration in the Southeast. He brings significant commercial and real estate development expertise to the project. Despite being based in Charlotte, Hanks is a proud native of the Philadelphia area.
At the end of May 2023, Sheehan completed a decisively-dominant, 15-year career as coach of the Yale Men’s Golf Team. During that time, he has been involved from the earliest stages— as co-founder or advisor—with four other architecturally-significant, destination private clubs on rural, sandy sites like this one: Ohoopee Match Club in Cobbtown, Georgia, Tree Farm in New Holland, South Carolina, and with Bert Guy, Fall Line in Georgia and Childress Hall in Texas.
Tuscaloosa-based lawyer Guy has focused his practice on golf development and golf matters for over 30 years. He has been involved in several notable golf projects, including Mossy Oak in Mississippi and with Colin Sheehan, Fall Line in Butler, Georgia, and Childress Hall in Texas.
Ohio-native Scott Nye is one of the most esteemed PGA Professionals in the United States. Since 2000, he has been the Director of Golf at Merion where he will remain for 2024 until becoming Merion’s Championship Director in 2025.
